1 Baseball Network Launches in Venezuelan Market, 24-Hour Baseball Programming Now Available

The Venezuelan market has a new Pay TV channel. A few days ago, 1 Baseball Network (1BN) began broadcasting, a sports channel whose programming is 100% about baseball. The new station can now be viewed at no additional charge on channel 681 of SimplePlus, SimpleTV’s streaming service, and at an additional cost as a premium channel on Inter and on its OTT Inter Go.

According to the little information revealed so far by 1 Baseball Network, the new channel broadcasts live per week 15 games of the MLB, the major leagues of American baseball, and 5 matches of the Japanese baseball league. In addition, it will have matches from the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP), when it begins in the last months of this year. “1 Baseball Network brings you more and better baseball, 24 hours non-stop,” they promote from the channel.

Without official information, the Venezuelan press indicated that the objective of the authorities of the new channel, which have not yet been revealed, is to bring the signal to more Latin American countries.

On the operators’ side, SimpleTV did not make any announcement about the launch of the new channel, but Inter did. «1 Baseball Network arrives in place of ByM Sport, to offer you exclusive baseball material worldwide. Learn all about the best analysis and matchday summaries, with content from MLB Network, Strike Zone, Quick Pitch and MLB Tonight, among others. Enjoy your 1BN content also on Inter Go, wherever and whenever you want,” they stated from Inter’s official Instagram account.
