France on High Alert: Vigilance Increases at Stadiums After Moscow Attacks

Since the attacks in Moscow on March 22, 2024 in a concert hall, the state of alert for terrorism has been raised. France has upgraded its Vigipirate plan to the “emergency attack” level, making stadiums a priority. Last night’s match between France and Chile at the Vélodrome stadium was closely monitored with an additional 400 police officers mobilized.
