Former Wales Rugby Star Pursuing NFL Dream with Roc Nation Sports

He quit rugby earlier this year
The former Wales rugby star opted to leave the sport ahead of this year’s Six Nations as he looked to achieve a move to the NFL via the NFL International Player Pathway (IPP).

Rees-Zammit enjoyed the 10-week period and was impressed at the IPP Pro Day, when NFL scouts look to find any new recruits they can select for their chosen team.

Louis Rees-Zammit could bolster Patrick Mahomes’ offense for the Super Bowl champions.

He visited the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns last week, but also appears to have caught the attention of the Denver Broncos and the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

Now, in a boost for the NFL hopeful, the former Gloucester wing has signed a deal with Roc Nation Sports, which is another important step after making the switch to sports.

“Roc Nation is thrilled to represent Louis,” said Roc Nation Sports NFL Agent Kimberly Miale.

Has a compelling story

“He is a dynamic athlete with a compelling story. “We are honored to be part of Louis’ journey to achieve his dream of playing in the NFL after establishing an illustrious career in rugby.”

“Personally, I am excited to work with Louis on this effort. With his athleticism, size, speed and work ethic, the sky is the limit.”

“I look forward to seeing Louis join an NFL roster and thrive during the upcoming season.”
