(ANSA-AFP) – BRASILIA, MARCH 21 – Former Brazilian footballer Robinho must immediately serve his nine-year prison sentence for rape. This is what a judge of the Brazilian Supreme Court decided who rejected the suspension of the sentence requested by Robinho himself until all possible appeals have been exhausted and the former footballer (among other teams also AC Milan) will therefore have to serve immediately his 9-year prison sentence for rape. “I reject the request for precautionary measures and the detention order is maintained so that he can start serving his sentence,” Judge Luiz Fux said in his ruling.
