The captain had to be substituted during an international match in the European Championship playoff semi-final against Ukraine; an ankle injury was suspected. As is now known, the 21-year-old suffered a foot injury and will therefore be out of action.
Gerhard Struber had to do without Dedic at the start of the spring against Sturm at the beginning of February – Andreas Ulmer replaced the right-back at the time. The veteran has already returned to team training after his calf injury, and Luka Sucic was also there again.
Baidoo, who is currently out with a torn syndesmotic ligament, has not yet been part of team training, but is working individually on his comeback. Capaldo’s return after his knee operation is still up in the air.
