FC Bayern Munich can probably write off the championship title in the Bundesliga after a defeat in the German classic against Borussia Dortmund. Coach Thomas Tuchel’s team lost 0-2 (0-1) at home against BVB on Saturday evening and is already 13 points behind Bayer Leverkusen with seven match days to go. The league leaders had won 2-1 against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim three hours earlier thanks to two late goals.
Karim Adeyemi scored Dortmund’s opening goal in the 10th minute following an assist from Julian Brandt. Julian Ryerson added in the 83rd minute. Thanks to the prestigious success, BVB, fourth in the table, extended its lead over pursuers RB Leipzig to three points.
