Exploring Exciting Professional Fields at Vienna’s Daughters’ Day

What does an aircraft technician actually do? What does the everyday life of a firefighter look like? At Vienna’s Daughters’ Day on April 25th, there will be insights into exciting professional fields.

„It’s my Future!“

Daughters’ Day shows girls exciting professional worlds. There is also a new format this year: MINI Daughters’ Day for girls of kindergarten age. Registration is requested.

Registration for the 23rd Vienna Daughters’ Day is underway under the motto “It’s my Future!” This year, the initiative enables students from the 1st grade of middle school or high school up to high school to immerse themselves in various professional fields for a day. Last year, more than 4,000 girls took part in the day of action and visited 250 companies, providing insights into technology, natural sciences, IT and crafts. Registration is possible at www.toechtertag.at.

Whether insights into Viennese IT companies, craft businesses or workshops – exciting activities and practical tasks await participants at Daughter’s Day. Another thing that shouldn’t be missed: getting to know interesting women from the company and getting personal impressions of their everyday work.

Because that’s exactly what it’s all about: supporting girls on their own path and showing them the wide variety of professional opportunities in Vienna, regardless of social role stereotypes.
