All preparations are ready for the official opening this Saturday of the U13 National Basketball Championship, which with the participation of representative teams from 22 regional entities for women, and the same number for men, will begin this Sunday, March 17, and will be developed jointly. in various settings in both Caracas and the state of Miranda.
This new edition of the U13 National Basketball Championship will have as venues those chosen and supervised by the highest authorities of the Venezuelan Basketball Federation (FVB) chaired by Hanthony Coello.
In the capital the games will be held at the Poliedrito de Caracas, where the National High Performance Center for Basketball operates; the “La Cachucha” gymnasium of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV).
In the state of Miranda, the agreed venues are: Rafael Vidal Sports Center, in La Trinidad, Baruta municipality; Simón Bolívar University, Sartenejas, Baruta municipality; José Joaquín “Papá” Carrillo Sports Complex in Miranda Park, Sebucán, Sucre municipality and 14 de Febrero Gymnasium, in the Los Naranjos Sports Center, in Guarenas.
Each category has been divided into six groups of 4 and 3 entities, both male and female.
