The Granadilla Pavilion will be the epicenter of regional judo this weekend. The Badajoz sports center will host the Extremadura Alevín and Benjamín Championship, as well as an adapted judo competition.
Next Saturday, December 16, the second edition of the Ciudad de Badajoz Trophy will take place. From 9 a.m. the best Extremaduran judokas in both categories will fight for the title of champion.
The main objective of this championship is the integration and participation of all athletes from different clubs in the region in order to strengthen the values of camaraderie, respect and education that judo entails.
Furthermore, in order to enhance the fun of the little ones, a leisure area and a training session called ‘Hand Judo’ will be prepared, where parents will be able to share some time with their children on the tatami.
The second edition of the City of Badajoz Trophy is organized by the Extremadura Judo Federation, in collaboration with the Badajoz City Council, the Spanish Federation and the Extremadura Government.
