Gangbuk-gu Council Vice Chairman Yoo In-ae (Beon 1 and 2-dong, Suyu 2 and 3-dong) visited the badminton court in front of Odong Neighborhood Park (49, Deokneung-ro 42-gil, Gangbuk-gu) on March 20 and inspected the telegraph pole relocation site. This visit was attended by Yoon Jae-eul, president of the Gangbuk Badminton Association, civil servants from the Culture and Sports Department of Gangbuk-gu Office, and local residents.
During her on-site visit, Vice Chairwoman Yoo In-ae spoke directly with residents, listened to their difficulties, and received a detailed explanation of the relocation process and plan from Gangbuk-gu Office officials. This telegraph pole relocation, which has been continuously requested since 2022, will involve the opening of two existing poles and one new pole, and construction is scheduled to be completed by May of this year.
Vice Chairman Yoo In-ae added, “The relocation of the Jeonjinju in front of the park has been a long-standing task. Going forward, we will work closely with the district office to minimize damage that may occur during the relocation process and do our best to help residents regain a stable life.” .
