Elena Rybakina (4th in the WTA ranking) closed her participation in the Miami Open falling for the second consecutive edition in the definition of the championship. “It’s difficult to compete with someone who is playing so well these weeks. She (Danielle Collins) was fresher than me”described Elena Rybakina in a press conference at the closing of the Miami Open.

“We have played before and they have always been tough games. She is being very aggressive and you need to respond quickly in the first moments of the point.”

“Physically I wasn’t in my best shape so I couldn’t push myself. Maybe I should have risked a little more on the breakpoints but the conditions were complicated. The ball, especially if it is not new, does not run well. And the percentage of my first serves was not the best either,” he analyzed.
