Draymond Green: I deserved to be kicked out, I’ll make sure that’s the exception and not the rule

Draymond Green takes advantage of his podcast “The Draymond Green Show” to talk about the ejection during the match between the Warriors and Magic.

“Such a thing can’t happen… Of course, I said what I said. At that point I deserved to be kicked out. If I’m honest with you, I was trying to head towards the bench (to avoid the referee) but I said what I said a little too soon… But, yeah, that can’t happen.”

For Green it is also the 19th regular season dismissal, second only to the legendary Rasheed Wallace (25) in the history of the league in the last 25 seasons.

“I’m not going to overreact….Things are never as good as they seem, and at the same time they’re never as bad as they seem. I know how I feel and I know what I’m doing to move forward. And my position on the matter is to make sure that moving forward it is the exception and not the rule.”

Curry and his teammates with Green on the pitch won 27 out of 47 games, while without the former Michigan State player the record is 11 wins and 14 defeats.
