Leading by one goal makes MU quite confident. Several times Erik ten Hag’s men were able to trouble the opponent’s back line.

Liverpool themselves played patiently. Slowly but surely, the visiting team could start to trouble MU after half an hour of the game.

In the 38th minute, Wataru Endo even scored an equalizer for Liverpool. However, the goal was disallowed because in the process it was already offside, after being checked via VAR.
