Despite the weight of the years, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos (34 years old, 10 matches in LdC this season) was still performing well against Bayern Munich (2-2) this Tuesday during the semi-final first leg of the Champions League. Under the spell of the German’s decisive pass on Vinicius Junior’s first goal, Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised him.

“Toni Kroos, I don’t have the words for him… He’s a top player. He’s so important for us, always with the right timing with his passes. Clearly, his pass (on the goal, editor’s note) is not within everyone’s reach, but there is also the intelligent movement of Vinicius, it was excellent”, appreciated the Italian technician at the microphone of Movistar +.

Rated 7/10 by the Maxifoot editorial team (see Debrief and Notes here), Kroos was indeed good.
