Another hard blow for Atlético Nacional: Dorlan Pabón presented his resignation to the Antioquia club this Monday, March 4, and said goodbye to the team despite being one of its references.
“Up until now I wear the Atlético Nacional shirt, for personal reasons, for myself, for peace of mind. “I think I completed a cycle, just gratitude for the team and the fans,” Pabón confirmed in an official video of the Antioquia club.
The surprising thing is that Pabón had four months left to finish his contract, but he brought forward his departure from the club.
His punch, his goals, his leadership, his drive, the titles, his love for the shirt. Today he says goodbye to Green, but he will always be one of our IDOL! ????????⚽️

Pabón, 36 years old, thus ends his experience at Atlético Nacional, in which he was in two cycles: 2010 to 2012 and 2021 to 2024; In his first era, ‘Memín’ won a League title; while upon his return, he was champion of 2 Colombia Cups, 1 League and 1 Super League.
It is said that Pabón put an end to his experience at Atlético Nacional, motivated by the recent elimination from the Copa Libertadores and the bad sporting moment that the team is experiencing.
Pablo Repetto, Purslane’s recent coach, would have tried to convince Pabón to stay to support him during his time as coach, but the player refused.
