Another success for the Italian-Argentine tennis player Luciano Darderi who wins in 3 sets against the Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo (6-3, 3-6, 6-3). A victory that allows him to take the lead pass to the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 in Santiago and number 73 in the world ranking.

Now Darderi will wait for the match between the two Chileans, Tabilo and Barrios Vela to find out who his opponent will be in the quarterfinals of the Chile Open. A match managed well by the blue player who led the first set well, suffering Cerundolo’s reaction in the second set. In the third set Darderi managed to regain control of the match, showing a proof of maturity after the ATP victory in Cordoba a few weeks ago. Darderi will return to the field Friday 1 March for the quarterfinals. In the meantime, he is enjoying his new position in the world rankings.
