The Minnesota Timberwolves, who inflicted their second defeat in a row on the Cleveland Cavaliers (91:104), remain in the top group.

Thanks to an outstanding Anthony Davis (23 points, 19 rebounds), the Los Angeles Lakers improved their record to 38-32 with a 101:94 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. LeBron James scored 20 points.

The Lakers thus pushed the Golden State Warriors into tenth place in the West and are still on course for the play-in tournament. Stephen Curry’s team, on the other hand, is not consistent in its performance. Against the Indiana Pacers, where Tyrese Haliburton put up 26 points and 11 assists, the score was only 111:123. Curry’s double-double (25 points, 10 rebounds) wasn’t enough.

The Miami Heat (38-32) had to accept a setback for direct playoff qualification against the New Orleans Pelicans (43-27) (88:111).
