The Cuenca City Council has renewed the functional sports lighting of the ‘Paulino Fernández’ central court of the El Sargal sports hall, updating the installation with LED technology and thus improving energy efficiency, works in which the existing power lines have been used. , replacing the current projectors.

The Councilor for Sports, Charo Rodríguez, highlighted that “in addition to the leap in quality that we have achieved with this renovation of the lighting, it is planned to reduce the total installed power by almost 50 percent, which represents significant energy and economic savings. ”.
It should be noted that the new lighting has already been enjoyed in the matches played in this pavilion over the last few weeks, in addition to other actions being planned in El Sargal such as improvements to the roof of this ‘Paulino Fernández’ central court. and renewal of the marker and protections of the ‘Esperanza Calvo’.
