The Costa Rican National Team got the job done and this Saturday beat Honduras 3-1 at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas (USA).
Thanks to this victory, the tricolor sealed qualification for the Copa América 2024.
Concacaf chose La Sele midfielder, Orlando Galo, as the best player of the match.
The Club Sport Herediano player played the entire match and scored 1-1 at 12′. Galo took advantage of a rebound and scored with his left foot in the six-yard box.
“The team was good and did not despair, we did a great job and the victory is deserved,” declared Orlando in the Concacaf broadcast.
Costa Rica was in group D of the Copa América along with Brazil, Colombia and Paraguay.
