“Care for the future” was the slogan of the March for Peace which was held in Collecchio in recent days, a slogan which perfectly represents the spirit with which Collecchio baseball-softball, which yesterday afternoon presented the its thirteen teams, faces the new season. The cure is obviously represented by baseball and softball, which have the task of raising the many very young men and women who have paraded on the diamond, towards a future as champions.
With an eye towards their older brothers (and sisters), who with the uniforms of Camec in the A baseball series and Bertazzoni in the A1 softball series, will fight for prestigious results.
«It will be a season full of changes – stated the president of Collecchio baseball Giorgio Acerbi, who like his softball colleague Oreste Ponzi, is in his first season at the helm of the club – we have renewed and strengthened the senior team with the hiring of Fabiani, Deotto, Mirabal, Guerra and Guadagnino, but above all we have made important investments for the youth teams, with an eye to the future, bringing to Collecchio two important technicians from Cuba and Venezuela, such as Roberto Medina and Audio Acosta”.
