Christophe Galtier at OM? Not even in a dream, for Longoria – Sport.fr

The future of Olympique de Marseille for the next season remains shrouded in mystery.

Despite the ups and downs of the first part of the current season, the club finally seems to be finding momentum under the leadership of Jean-Louis Gasset, after the tumultuous departures of Marcelino and Gennaro Gattuso. However, Gasset’s future at OM is already being called into question internally, with his decision not to renew his contract in June. The search for a new conductor on the Canebière is now at the center of discussions among Marseille leaders.

In this quest, one figure already seems excluded from the list of contenders according to information from Foot Market : Christophe Galtier. Currently stationed in Qatar at Al-Duhail SC, this native of Marseillais could have been tempted by a return to France. However, Pablo Longoria and Mehdi Benatia do not seem interested in the former Paris coach, perhaps due to his past in the capital. With Galtier out of the race, attention now turns to other potential candidates to shape the future of OM.
