Charles Barkley Suggests Bold Strategy to Fix Boston Celtics’ Bench Problems

“If they don’t win the title, I think it will be a total failure. They have what it takes to do it,” Barkley said. Later, the topic of the conversation was also Boston’s bench, which, according to several experts, could be one of the arguments why the “Celtics” could not achieve the set goals.

“Porzingis is probably the best player in the entire league among those who are not their team’s first or second option on offense. Boston has it all. Are you pointing to the bench? They can solve their bench problem easily. I think they should bring Porzingis off the bench,” Barkley said.

It should be reminded that Porzingis is the third most productive player in the Celtics this season, averaging 20.4 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.8 blocked shots per game.

Charles Barkley spent 16 seasons in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns and Houston Rockets. In 1993, Barkley was recognized as the MVP of the league, but in the NBA finals, his ‘Dogs lost 2-4 to Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls. Barkley ranks 22nd on the NBA’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Greatest Players List.
