FC Bayern averts embarrassment in Göttingen – the highlights in the video
After the bankruptcy last week, FC Bayern averted the next embarrassment. At relegation candidate BG Göttingen, the Munich team turned a temporary 14-point deficit and won the game. The highlights in the video.
A week ago, FC Bayern surprisingly lost to Rasta Vechta, and now there was a threat of another bankruptcy. The Munich team were already 14 points behind in Göttingen, but then started a furious race to catch up.
FC Bayern Munich made up for their mistake from the previous week and showed great morale in the Basketball Bundesliga. The Munich team turned around a 14-point deficit against relegation candidate BG Göttingen on Sunday and defeated the Lower Saxony team 77:71 (32:46) after a strong comeback. Sylvain Francisco (16 points) and Devin Booker (13) were the best throwers in coach Pablo Laso’s team, which had lost in front of its own audience against surprise team Rasta Vechta the previous week.
The Niners Chemnitz successfully defended their lead in the table ahead of Munich. The frontrunner won confidently over the Bamberg Baskets with 106:84 (48:36).

Towers off to a good start
