“Rich” expedition to Friuli for the CAM Gallarate, the Monica Archers Company which it has represented for many years one of the most visible clubs in the “round” of blue archery.
A Pordenone, seat of the Italian Indoor Championships 2024, the Gallaratese company obtained two team medals decidedly “heavy”. In particular, the silver obtained in the team competition shines men’s overall of the Olympic arc: in fact the CAM was stopped only in the final measurement (5-3) from the Voghera Archers.
A great result for the trio who saw the three-time Olympic medalist Michele Frangilli – true legend of this sport – supported by Edoardo Sportiello Sghirinzetti and Alessandro Volpato who shot on par with the Voghera trio made up of Mauro Nespoli (another absolute star of the blue and gold arc in London with Frangilli), Stefano Travisani and Matteo Paoletta.
The formation of the CAM (photo above) he therefore obtained also a bronze: it happened in the senior team competition in which Frangilli, Sportiello and Volpato scored 1,704 points, just five from the silver won by Iuvenilia. Also in this case the title went to Voghera.
Success in Varese instead Compound bow student class: in this category he triumphed in fact Samuele Barigozzi of the Arcieri Tre Torri di Cardano at the Camp. Barigozzi, son of art, concluded the race with 570 points surpassing Omar Cecco (Tagliamento) with 565 and Christian Messina (Langhe and Roero) with 564.
