The Bavarian Judo Championships recently took place in Wörth an der Donau.

Wörth/Bad Aibling – The Bavarian Judo Individual Championships in the F/M U13 age group took place this year in Wörth an der Donau. The tournament was well attended with a total of 138 male participants and 99 female starters from around 90 Bavarian clubs. Under the observation of the BJV U13 state coach, Jörg Bischoff, the fighters showed intense duels with good techniques.
Of the four remaining fighters from TUS Bad Aibling, Nora Skrynecki was the first to compete as South Bavarian champion in the weight class up to 48 kg. After winning three fights early and with full points, she was able to advance to the final and had to admit defeat to the North Bavarian champion after a courageous fight.

Sophia Zappe was eliminated in the preliminary round in the same weight class after losing two encounters. At the same time, Marisa Rüger fought in the weight class up to 44 kg. After winning a fight in the preliminary round, she finished in a well-deserved seventh place after two defeats in the consolation round.
Magdalena Drexler had a similar experience up to 40 kg. Like Marisa Rüger, she achieved seventh place. Her teammate and reigning South Bavarian champion in this weight class Luise Wachtel was unable to take part due to illness. Team coach Anamaria Budiu was overall very satisfied with the performance shown at this high level and proud of her students.
