(ANSA) – MELBOURNE, MARCH 23 – Charles Leclerc set the best time in the third and final free practice session before qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver, who had already been the fastest on Friday, setting the best combined time of the first two test sessions, beat the reigning three-time world champion and championship leader Max Verstappen (Red Bull) by 20 thousandths and his teammate, the Spaniard Carlos Sainz, has 77.
Under a threatening sky, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), in great difficulty the day before during free practice 2, set the fourth fastest time.
