Delivery is scheduled for fall 2024 for this equipment, which will cost the CF63 more than €7 million.

Clermont football, last in the Ligue 1 ranking, unveiled its future performance center on Friday, a piece of equipment “which aims to be at the forefront ecologically and an asset for the development of the CF63”.

This 1,500 m2 building spread over two floors will have a performance room, a medical area, changing rooms “designed to promote exchange and team cohesion”a catering area, a new press conference room, a living room for players, offices, meeting and video analysis rooms, explained the Auvergne club in a communiqué.

Exemplary on an environmental level

According to Clermont football, the construction site “wants to be exemplary from an environmental point of view” and the building which will be “resolutely eco-responsible” will benefit from a heating system connected to the urban heat network, 200 m2 of photovoltaic panels, a rainwater recovery system or even the use of insulating materials “biosourced”.

In November 2022, the Clermont club, promoted to Ligue 1 for the first time in its history in 2021, inaugurated its new training center with 15,000 m2 of hybrid lawn. “This represents a new stage in the development of the Clermont foot 63. The objective is to offer additional working comfort to players in order to optimize their performance”said President Ahmet Schaefer.

Delivery of the work is scheduled for autumn 2024 and the overall budget for the operation is seven million euros, entirely financed by the club.
