Aston Martin Reveals New Generation Vantage Model as Formula 1 Safety Car

The British car manufacturer Aston Martin recently revealed the new generation of the Vantage model. She immediately rebuilt it for the needs of Formula 1, where the car will drive as a safety car – and thanks to the photos, we can take a good look at it.

In addition to the beacons on the roof and rear, the most significant differences from the road version include a large carbon wing, a splitter under the front bumper and side skirt extensions. Together with the modification of the undercarriage cover, these elements are part of the aerodynamic package.

The interior has also undergone a number of changes. On the one hand, there are special Recaro seats with six-point seat belts, and on the other hand, the passenger got two displays. A number of buttons have also been added to the center console to control the functions needed for the car to serve as a safety car.

The Vantage will be available at races alongside the DBX 707, which doubles as a medical car. In this work, he will alternate with the four-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S. The second car in the role of safety car from the stable of the three-pointed star is the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series.

The new Aston Martin Vantage offers 665 horsepower and promises an even better driving experience
