Excellent performance for the Arcieri Club Lido company
At the Palacus in Cosenza organized by the archery section of the University of Calabria, under the sporting direction of the event by Luigi Palopoli and Nisticò Simona, the Calabrian indoor season for archery ended, on the distance of 25 meters.
About ninety athletes, including those from outside the region, competed at the event, which was spread over two days of competition, i.e. 09 and 10 March 2024.
At the competition, the Arcieri Club Lido company accompanied by Mister Poerio Pierà Edoardo and the organizational supporter Gulia Sabrina, registered 6 archers, as many as the medals brought home by the president Messina’s company.
Gold and first place for Francesco Poerio Pierà who supported by the Gillo Gold Medal sports equipment, Gas Pro and Arcosport accessories at the end of the race scored 582 points, Gold also for the student Poerio Pierà Anastasia in the compound division but in the junior class with a total of 564 points, followed by the silver of Fabio Ludovica and the bronze of Chiarella Vittoria Veneta, who at the end of the race obtained the class gold as the first-placed team. Gold for Poerio Pierà Edoardo in the Master naked bow. Excellent 6th position for Serafino Valentino in the master recurve.
At the end of the competition there were greetings from the Rector of the University of Calabria to all the archers for the excellent success of the sporting event.
The Lido club company says it is satisfied with the performances of its archers, as the efforts made during the recently concluded indoor season emerged on the field.
