Xiamen Teachers and Sports Association held annual meeting
Former national footballers and other domestic celebrities attended

Yesterday morning, the Xiamen Teachers and Sports Association held its second and third membership meeting at Heshan Middle School. All the above-mentioned consultants hired by the association attended the meeting.
The Xiamen Faculty and Staff Sports Association, established in 2016, is the first faculty and staff sports association established in Fujian Province. In addition to technical consultants Dong Fangzhuo and Chen Yanghui and academic consultant Guo Jiansheng, the association also hired scientific research expert He Yuanchun as an academic consultant. These four domestic celebrities have provided strong support for the development of the association.
In 2023, the Xiamen Teachers and Sports Association represented the Xiamen education system in participating in the Provincial Teachers and Staff Fun Games, the Fujian Tai Chi Classic, and the 21st Xiamen Sports Games Industry Group Competition and achieved excellent results. It hosted swimming, track and field, and other sports for primary and secondary school students in the city. For table tennis, badminton, tennis, volleyball and basketball events, President Song Chaomei and Vice President Chen Wenbin, as well as more than 50 member physical education teachers, were selected to officiate the World Athletics Diamond League Xiamen competition.
It is worth mentioning that in the past three years, the Xiamen Teachers and Sports Association has cooperated with the Hengshen Charity Foundation to participate in rural sports teaching activities in Shaowu, Nanping City and Youxi, Sanming City. Through the organization of trainings and guidance of lectures and physical education classes by members of the association, the backward sports landscape in the remote mountainous areas of the two places has been gradually changed.
