Anderlecht Dominates in Women’s Super League with 0-5 Victory over Genk: Title Rivals on Notice

Anderlecht has once again put the pressure in the Women Super League on title rivals Standard and OH Leuven. The national champion converted his dominance against Genk into a 0-5 victory.

First Club Brugge and now also KRC Genk: Anderlecht opened its play-offs in style with two forfeit scores. The title competitors have been warned.

Esther Buabadi opened the score after 7 minutes and not much later had the stroke of luck when a high ball fell into the goal via her thigh for the 0-2.

A header, a free kick on the post… Anderlecht still had plenty of chances to add to the score before half-time, but waited until the second half.

In the end it ended up being 0-5, thanks to Amélie Delabre and Sakina Ouzraoui Diki.

The first real test for Anderlecht in the title battle comes in two weeks. The Purple & White will then take on OH Leuven at home, which still has to play in Ghent tomorrow.
