Alcaraz Shines on the Court and Bonds with Sports Stars Off It

The 20-year-old admitted: “That’s all I was thinking about, but of course I had to concentrate on the match.”

The plan to bring his own tennis into the match “succeeded quite well. Hopefully they liked it.”

After the match, the sports stars also got together for a little chat. Alcaraz gave an insight into the topics.

“We talked a bit about, well, everything. We talked a bit about Neymar, how his knee is going, how he’s recovering, step by step. He’s been here for a few days and is enjoying Miami a bit,” reported the Spaniard: “Jimmy also has a very important game. I wish him good luck.”

Butler praises Alcaraz’s sovereignty

While Alcaraz moved into the quarterfinals thanks to the subsequent 6:3, 6:3 win against Lorenzo Musetti, Butler lost in the NBA on Tuesday with his Miami Heat team against the Golden State Warriors (92:113).

The American was there at the Masters last year and raved about Alcaraz back then. “He’s always confident. He never lets himself be rattled and, above all, he looks like he’s having a lot of fun out there,” Butler told ATPTour.com at the time.
