The Ligue 1the French football championship, has reached a agreement with McDonald’s for the next three years. A partnership that will begin from 1 July 2024, as announced today, Thursday 21 March, by the LFP (French football league).

The famous American fast food chain will therefore be the official sponsor of the French championship from next season. The statement: «First French restaurateur, present in more than 1,150 cities, with two million meals served per day. This partnership seals the meeting between two popular institutions, strongly inscribed in the daily life and collective imagination of the French. With this new agreement, LFP is continuing its ambition to develop the Ligue 1 brand. Through its national network of 1,560 restaurants, McDonald’s will bring Ligue 1 even closer to fans across the country.
