We saw him just recently on Netflix in the role of an astronaut (here is our review of Spaceman) and yet Adam Sandler he never stops: let’s see together which film should see him as the protagonist next.
There is nothing officially announced, with date and title, for now, but the pairing is one we are really waiting for with trepidation: Adam Sandler with the Safdie brothers. Indeed, perhaps only with one of the two, Josh Safide, after the two announced their artistic separation.
We tell you all this because i Safdie directed Adam Sandler in a splendid film that gave us one of his best performances (we told you about it in our review of Rough Diamonds, which you can find on Netflix). That’s why seeing Josh Safdie in front of the camera again gives us hope.
The film should always be produced for Netflixbut it remains unclear what it will talk about: before the brothers’ separation, in fact, Adam Sandler was supposed to star in a film directed by both of them which talked about baseball card collecting in the 90s (alongside, among other things, Megan Thee Stallion) .
It is therefore unknown whether this next project with Josh Safdie will take up this idea or whether we will see a completely new film.
