News which surprised because the Serb signed an almost perfect 2023 season with the Croatian at his side for a little less than five years. The duo has won nine Grand Slam titles.
Craig Shapiro, journalist on the ESPN channel, believes that an altercation is at the origin of this brutal and totally unexpected divorce. The two men would have had a “big argument” during training at the Indian Wells tournament a few days ago. Ivanisevic would have criticized his colt for a lack of investment.
On March 21, Sharpiro announced that Djokovic ‘wasn’t happy with his team’ and that he was preparing to make changes. The journalist added that the world number 1 wanted to concentrate on the clay court season and the Olympic Games, his priority objective, while questioning his presence at Wimbledon, just before the big Paris meeting.
