Under the theme: “50+ in action”, this event promotes the practice of physical activity, leisure activities and cultural encounters among seniors.
In addition to the indoor petanque, pocket baseball, chair hoops and shuffleboard competitions, this year we will add small bowling.
Rivière-du-Loup Secondary School will be the site of the first pickeball tournament, while the pétanque, 1 km prediction walking and 3 km fast walking events will take place at the Parc du Campus-et-de-la- Quoted.
Last year, in Saint-Mathieu-de-Rioux, the event brought together 332 people, 49% of whom were aged between 70 and 79.
