Two young people arrested in Novi for attempted tire theft
The Carabinieri patrols of Tortona, Novi and Alessandria they arrested a 24 year old and a minor, both with police records. It is the epilogue of what happened during the night, at the height of the services set up to identify the tire thieves who are striking in various areas of the province. Shortly before, the two, with their faces covered by balaclavas and hats, attempted to steal the tires of a car parked in Piazza Magellano in Alessandria, unaware of the presence of the Carabinieri who are searching the area in their tracks.
The search led to the discovery of material for misrepresentation, wrenches, a baseball bat, two hydraulic jacks and three mobile phones in the 24-year-old’s car. After a night in the security room for the adult and at the home for the minor, the two appear, respectively, before the Court of Alessandria and the Juvenile Court of Turin, which validate the arrests and order precautionary measures against them.
