More than 50,000 plants and shrubs from Willaert from Roeselare have already been planted in the Olympic village in Paris. “We have been able to build 2 parks, one is the Zac Plaine Saulnier at the Olympic swimming pool and the second is at the Cluster des Médias, where press people from all over the world will gather and where climbing sports take place,” explains daughter Matilde Vannevel of the family business.
“The plants are already there, so that they will be blooming beautifully by the Summer Games. Our French sales team was able to win that contract. The customer and architect have drawn up the parks. We were able to provide advice and help with the choice of the types of plants.”
