UEFA approves new profit-sharing principles for men’s club competitions

UEFA expects to earn 4.4 billion euros annually, of which 3.317 billion euros will be reserved for clubs in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League that make it to the main tournament.

Champions League clubs will still receive 74.38% or 2.467 billion of the amount allocated to clubs.

Manchester City reports a profit of 113.85 million euros in this section after winning the Champions League final last season.

Sources in UEFA indicate that the winning team in 2024/2025. in the season of 2018, due to the increase in revenues, they could receive a little more than 140 million euros.

Seven percent of the total revenue, or 308 million euros, will be directed to clubs that do not participate in the European Cup competitions, while another three percent will go to clubs that do not pass the qualification of the three mentioned tournaments.
