UD Melilla Player Ousama Siddiki Suffers Muscle Injury: Recovery Time Estimated at Two Weeks

UD Melilla reports that the player Ousama Siddiki suffers a muscle injury to the femoral biceps of his left leg, as a result of a game incident in last Sunday’s match against CD Alcoyano.

Medical services estimate that Siddiki’s estimated recovery time will depend largely on his evolution, although it is expected to be approximately two weeks.

For its part, the Melilla team trained this Thursday at the Álvarez Claro Municipal Stadium, in the third session of the week, preparatory to this Sunday’s clash.

It should be remembered that in addition to Siddiki’s absence due to injury, Bandaogo is also suspended, sanctioned with one match due to accumulation of warnings.

On the other hand, the Technical Committee of Referees has appointed David Cambronero González to direct the Córdoba CF-UD Melilla match. The 28-year-old referee from La Mancha, from Quintanar del Rey (Cuenca), has led the Melilla team on three occasions, with a balance of one draw and two defeatswith the following results:

Melilla 1-1 Recreativo de Granada (2018-2019 season).

Las Palmas Atlético 1-0 Melilla (2019-2020).

Atlético Sanluqueño 2-0 Melilla (2023-2024).
