The athletes who obtained their pass to the next stage were: Alejandro Ramírez Meléndez in compound, Diego Aguilar Nevarez in recurve and Alan Chávez in men’s recurve, as well as Stefany Bejarano Lucero in recurve, Sayuri Soto Loya in recurve and Miranda Cisneros Villa, who completed the women’s course.
In turn, the university coach highlighted that the athletes have been preparing since last year to begin this process in the best way, thus achieving their pass by beating their peers from the Universidad de La Salle Campus Chihuahua.
It should be noted that on this occasion only these two universities participated because the regional phase will also take place in the state of Chihuahua, specifically in the border city of Juárez, tentatively to take place in two weeks.
In addition, the aforementioned university athletes are also preparing for the state selective stage to advance to the Macro Regional representing Chihuahua, with the goal in mind of reaching the National CONADE.

Regarding this team, the coach shared that he has good expectations for this entire path that his pupils will be competing, ensuring that Stefany Bejarano and Alan Chavez are the most outstanding duo of the group, who already managed to win a medal in the last National Universiade.
