The two mascots of Milano-Cortina 2026 paraded on the Sanremo stage on the second evening of the festival: two stoats designed by fourteen-year-old students from the Taverna comprehensive school in the Catanzaro area. The one with the light coat is called Tina (from Cortina) and represents the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Milo (from Milan), the brother with the brown coat, will instead be the testimonial of the next Paralympic Winter Games.
Their names are the diminutives of those of the two protagonist locations: Tina from Cortina, Milo from Milan. Italian, short, easily pronounceable and memorable, they are also used in other countries.
