TotalEnergies new partner of the FFR

A few days after securing the role of jersey sponsor of the Altrad group until the 2026 Six Nations Tournament, but also learning of the upcoming defection of a historic partner, the GMF, which, having arrived in 1985, will cease its partnership next June, the FFR has therefore moved closer to a multinational already present in the world of rugby, first through the Section Paloise, in its historic region, but also, and more recently, the Top 14, like the announced the NRL last December.

According to the FFR press release, which refrains from quantifying the partnership, TotalEnergies thus becomes official partner of all French teams, XV and 7, male and female. The hydrocarbon giant will not be content with the high level and will also approach amateur rugby through regional leagues, departmental committees and clubs, for the organization of tournaments or discovery sessions.

“It is an honor for TotalEnergies to become an official partner of all French rugby teams and to continue its commitment to the National Neighborhood and Countryside Tournament. After the partnership with the National Rugby League, this commitment with the French Rugby Federation marks a new stage in our support for this sport. Passion, solidarity, discipline and respect are all characteristics of rugby which are consistent with the values of our company and which we live every day throughout France,” said the FFR press release to Patrick Pouyanné, president and CEO. of TotalEnergies.
