Dall’Oglio wants to rely on the competition

“The word substitute, you have to see it more globally even if it’s difficult when you’re a player. We think about ourselves, that’s normal. We look at 95 minutes. Everything can change until the last minute If a player is not happy to be on the bench, that doesn’t bother me.
As long as he doesn’t disrupt the collective, it’s normal that he isn’t satisfied. If it annoys him in a good way, why not! But if he sucks on the pitch without making the effort, it’s not the same. I will position myself as someone who is dissatisfied and I will quickly make it known. We missed not having a bench so much that now that we have one, we are happy. Now, of course there are egos to manage.
Leaving at 19 is a possibility, but not for fun. We are here to win the matches. There will be moments of disappointment for some players. Moments of questioning, of feeling of injustice. It won’t always be fair. But it’s part of our jobs. If I have no doubts about a player, we will start with 18.”
