Olaya has become an essential figure in the relationship between the white-and-red team and its subscribers and fans. “The support of the fans is key. At El Molinón we have this magic and the players feel loved. When I finish my work in the box office on match days I go to the field and I love that feeling of walking in and seeing everyone involved cheering on the team”comments Olaya, who accumulates countless anecdotes from day to day with the fans and is a key piece in this gear between the club and footballer number 12, the one who has been ‘playing’ for Sporting for 118 years.
He’s been there for much less Carla Alvarez, which represents the young people who are joining it recently. She works in the club shop, is very sporty and whenever she can she travels – as she did before she was hired – to all the trips to support the team away from El Molinón. “Starting to be part of the club is being a very rewarding experience. Never in my life would I have expected it and I’m super happy”, admits Carla. His knowledge is at the service of the fans in the store and his passion for each sporting article brings color to the stands that accompany the team.
