Success at the 2024 Italian Indoor Archery Championships: Compagnia Maremmana Arcieri Athletes Shine

The 2024 Italian Indoor Archery Championships have concluded in Pordenone where the athletes of the Compagnia Maremmana Arcieri brought numerous important results, both personal and medals, to the competition field.

Overall silver for Bilisari, class silver for Landi and bronze for the women’s team. Leonardo Marchi achieved a sixth place in the compound Allievi category, confirming his scores and position in the qualifying ranking. Seventh place in the Olympic Girls competition for Sara Fruscoloni; Vittoria Capuccini was thirtieth in the same category, in her first ever Italian championship. Thirty-second in the Girls Olympics for Serena Pepi at the first Italian indoor championship where she qualified individually. Thirtieth Cristian Bertoldi in the Allievi Olympic arch. Seventh position for Ilaria Tognozzi in the Allieve Olympic arch after a continuous push and pull, just 4 points from the podium. Alessia Bilisari was sixteenth in the same category, in her first championship as a student.

Ginevra Landi achieved a great second place in her class in the Junior Olympics. The Olympic girls category team made up of Fruscoloni, Pepi and Capuccini won the brondo on their debut at the indoor championships.

In the Senior Olympics, fifth place went to Matteo Bilisari, 4 points behind first, demonstrating the work he is doing in training.

As for those who also competed in the absolutes: Ginevra Landi then qualified ninth and only surrendered after a shot-off in the quarterfinals, a result that allows her to arrive in fifth position overall. Overall silver medal for Matteo Bilisari. While the women’s team made up of Landi, Tognozzi and Fruscoloni qualified for the week and then lost to the third-placed teams.
