Sparta increased the competition in the reserve. The seedling will start to lag behind, the expert says

At the end of autumn, Sparta most often bet in important matches on the Albanian Laci with Fin Kairinen. In the winter transfer period, however, the coaching team wanted to bring in even more quality, which is why the club, after painstaking negotiations, poached the Norwegian representative Solbakken from Viking Stavanger for approximately 50 million crowns.

Suddenly, the competition in the midfield while adhering to the 3-4-3 formation increased enormously. “They’re all pretty similar in some ways. They are our driving force and box-to-box players who can be effective both offensively and defensively. It is important that they know what their position is in the squad,” explains Priske. Sparta often strengthens the midfield either by withdrawing a striker or by pulling one of the stoppers.

In the final, however, the main part of the work is on the midfielders themselves. And everyone contributes a little differently. “Sazilek is probably the most unpredictable. Compared to others, he makes more runs into the depth of the field. But they are all very important to us, we need the central midfielders, among other things, to set the pace of the game and be as dominant as possible,” the Spartan coach points out.

In preparation, Laci and Kairinen started next to each other again, the other pair consisted of Sadílek and Solbakken. Pavelka is then ready for every match and moment when he gets space. “Sadílek starts to lag behind in some matches. He put in a lot of work in the fall, but will be used more in matchups that suit him. If Sparta conquers, Laci, Kairinen and Solbakken will share it among themselves,” estimates former footballer and former youth representative Petr Mikolanda.

The autumn numbers are interesting. Kairinen played 1,773 minutes across all competitions, Sadílek 1,719 and Laci 1,476. Pavelka then 627. He started in the starting line-up in Teplice, at home with Karvina, in MOL Cup matches in Líšní and Bohemians, in the league in Baník and Pardubice.

Sparta will probably use the big rotation mainly at the beginning of spring, when from February 10 to March 10 they will have at least eight duels, including two derbies, a Europa League double-header with the Turkish Galatasaray or matches in Slovácko and Pilsen. “I see incredible things in Solbakken from a technical, tactical and mental point of view. He brings a great above standard, we’ll just have to see how he will taste the league, which is very contact and dueling. I don’t think he will play from the beginning, Priske will teach him for our competition. But he is a great footballer and I am convinced that he will help Sparta in important moments,” Mikolanda is clear.

Norwegian representative Markus Solbakken from Viking Stavanger became the reinforcement of football Sparta.

For Saturday’s duel in Karviná, he expects Sparta to stick with the proven cooperation and deploy Laci with Kairinen. It would make sense, but the question again arises as to what space Sadílek, who is out for the weekend due to a red card against Teplice, will get in the coming weeks, but throughout the spring. “This is a Czech representative and it is necessary for him to be ready and played for the Euro. It would be bad for the Czech national team, where he is counted on, if he collected really few minutes. In my eyes, there are four for the position,” adds Mikolanda.
