Sanremo Rugby Welcomes Under-18 Women’s National Team for Training Camp

Sanremo. The Under-18 Women’s National Team of rugby returns to Pian di Poma, guest of the Sanremo camp which thus confirms itself as the Italian gateway to rugby on the border with France. The staff and players were welcomed by the family Sanremo Rugbynow a point of reference for the Italian world in preparation for the friendly matches in the Transalpine region.

The Matuzian club, supported by the national team coach, Diego Saccà, and by the technical collaborator Layla Pennetta, officially presented the newly created white-blue women’s selection, created with the aim of representing a meeting point for all the girls in the province who dream of enter the world of the oval ball. Now they will have a structure, a staff and a club at their disposal to begin the adventure in their beloved sport.

The staff of the women’s section of Sanremo Rugby will be made up of: Alberto Ferrara, manager in charge; Emanuele Mori, project manager; Manuela Bongiovanni, team manager; Andrey Hurjui, coach; Mario Botto, athletic trainer. All in a direct line with the Italian national team, ready to return to Sanremo at the next opportunity to train and share their growth path with the blue and white girls and with the Sanremo Rugby staff.
