Rennes gets a page from the Italian daily “La Gazzetta dello sport”

The Stade de Rennes saw things big for the Europa League play-off first leg match this Thursday evening (9 p.m.) against AC Milan, at San Siro: a full page from this Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello sport, the most important of the three Italian sports dailies, and the one based in Milan. A great communication move from Rennais, especially since it is the last page, perfectly visible as soon as the newspaper is opened wide! Initially intended for the regional edition of the Gazzetta, this page finally found itself on the national and international editions of the daily.

You can admire the image of a Rennes player with one hand placed under the Rennes club crest, and right in the middle a message in Italian: “SRFC, dal primo all’ultimo minuto, dare tutto”. Which translates to “SRFC, from the first to the last minute, give everything”. Under the message, the San Siro stadium and the dates of the two meetings (February 15 and 22) between the Rossoneri and the Rouge et Noir, as well as the logo of the Breton club. Finally, at the bottom of the page, and still in Italian, “pride, passion, fervor meet this evening at San Siro. There will be thousands of us celebrating our love for our colors, Red and Black. Go Rennes! » A beautiful proof of love, indeed, the day after Valentine’s Day!
