Persistent Flooding Causes Continued Disruptions on Nantes Ring Road

A new flood was reported on the Nantes ring road this Monday, again between Porte de Carquefou and Porte de la Chapelle. Due to the overflow of the Gesvres, the outer roadway is closed to traffic, thus complicating the journey for motorists on this important road.

In addition, additional restrictions have been put in place, with the closure of the right lane from the Sainte-Luce gate, thus amplifying traffic disruptions.

Authorities recommend that motorists take alternate routes and use caution when traveling through the flood-affected area. This is the seventh day the Nantes ring road has been cut off at this location due to flooding since the start of 2024.
